Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
This policy explains how Silicon Nexus LLC ("we") collects, uses and protects information in Stacked Souls (the "Game") and on this website.
In short
- Your solo journey's progress stays on your device and is never uploaded.
- When online, the Game creates a guest account for you on our server, used for Soul Duels, moving to a new phone, and counting how the Game is played.
- The Game has no ads, no in-app purchases, and no third-party analytics or ad SDKs. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal information.
- You can delete your account in the Game at any time (section 6).
1. Information we collect
| Category | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account and device | A random device ID made on first connection (the server keeps only a one-way hash); your account ID; sign-in tokens | Identifying your account, guest sign-in, limiting accounts per device |
| Sign-in methods (if you choose) | When you link Apple or Google: the account identifier and email address they provide, and Apple's refresh token | Signing in to the same account on another device; the refresh token is used only to revoke Apple's authorization when you unlink or delete the account |
| Transfer codes | Codes you create and their 4-digit PIN (one-way hashes only), and their expiry | Moving your account to a new device |
| Soul Duel | The name you enter, room code, each blind's score, soul-fire and rank | Running online matches and deciding results |
| Usage statistics | Sign-in times, app version and platform. When a solo journey ends: the ante reached, whether you won, total score, best hand and time played. When a Soul Duel ends: rank, number of players, soul-fire, total score and time played. Recorded with your account ID in our own statistics system | Understanding how many people play and whether the difficulty is right, to improve the Game |
| Network and security | IP address, country or region (as determined by Cloudflare), connection times | Security, preventing abuse, regional statistics |
We do not collect your name, address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone or advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID).
2. How we use it
Only to provide and maintain the Game's features (online matches, accounts and transfers), to understand how the Game is used so we can improve it, to prevent cheating and abuse, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal obligations. Never for advertising or ad profiling.
3. Sharing
- Other players: players in the same room see your name, soul-fire, progress and scores.
- Service providers: our server and database hosts, and Cloudflare (website and connection relay). They process data only on our instructions.
- Apple and Google: only if you choose to link them, to sign you in under their privacy policies.
- As required by law: we may disclose information to authorities where the law requires it, or where needed to protect users and the service.
We do not sell personal information or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. How long we keep it
- Accounts and sign-in methods: while the account exists.
- Transfer codes: until they expire (30 days) or are used.
- Soul Duel rooms: deleted when the match ends and the room closes; no match records are kept.
- Usage statistics: per-game records for up to 13 months; daily sign-in records while the account exists. Both are deleted with your account.
- Server backups: 14 days (deleted information remains in backups for that time).
5. Security
All communication is encrypted (TLS). The account service runs only on our internal network and is never exposed directly. Device IDs, transfer codes and PINs are stored only as one-way hashes. All administrative actions are logged.
6. Deleting your account
- On the main menu, tap Account at the bottom right (you need to be online).
- Tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.
There is a 30-day grace period during which you can tap Cancel deletion on the same screen. After it, we delete the account, its sign-in methods and its statistics, and revoke Apple's sign-in authorization. If you cannot open the Game, email privacy@nyxnet.cc with the player ID shown on the Account screen. Solo journey data lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK GDPR, California's CCPA/CPRA, Japan's APPI or China's PIPL), you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, or to object to some processing. Email privacy@nyxnet.cc; we reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity to protect your account. You may also complain to a supervisory authority.
8. Children
The Game is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (under 13 in the US, under 16 in the EU); if we learn we have, we delete it. The Game involves no real money and no gambling.
9. International transfers
Silicon Nexus LLC is based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the US and in other countries where our servers and service providers are, with appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
10. Changes
When we change this policy we update the effective date on this page and let you know in the Game; significant changes are announced before they take effect.
